Facebook Software Engineer and EMERGE Alumna, Grace Egbo, grew up in Houston, Texas, and now resides in the Bay area. Grace started at Facebook four different times; she was an intern at Facebook three times before accepting a full-time position in July of 2019. She graduated cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis in May 2019 with a degree in computer science. At Washington University, she was involved in a slew of extracurricular activities ranging from serving as student body president for over 7,000 undergrad students to creating fabulous fashions with the college knitting club. Grace earned the university's two highest awards in recognition of her leadership and service to her campus community. Growing up as the daughter of immigrants and the oldest of five children, she strives to ensure that she sets a good example for those coming behind her.
