VIRTUAL CAREER ROUNDTABLES
Talent Mobilizes Us
EMERGE Career Roundtables are a yearly guest speakers series that connect EMERGE high school and college students to a diverse group of industry leaders. Each one-hour long session is exploratory in nature and provides an exclusive opportunity to learn about the variety of career paths possible for talented, first-generation students. Through our roundtables, Houston-area leaders and professionals are able to guide our student’s career exploration process by sharing insights on what skills are important in their field, advice they’d give their younger selves, and more.
Previous panelists include Scott McClelland (HEB, President), Anna Rotman (Partner, Kirkland and Ellis), Carlos Jr. Paz (Senior Communications Advisor,Office of the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives), and Benjy Levit (Owner, Local Foods Market).
To speak at or host an in-person career roundtable or if you have issues registering, please connect with our Director of Individual and Corporate Giving, Carlos Perrett, firstname.lastname@example.org
EMERGE is excited to offer students four unique opportunities to connect with various industry leaders across more than one industry. Space is limited for each roundtable, so make sure to register in advance. Panelists will be announced via email and EMERGE Connect to our high school and college students.!
