FY19 IMPACT REPORT

We invite you to take a look back with us on all that EMERGE accomplished during this time period that spanned the 2018-2019 school year. It was a year of incredible growth and change filled with milestones that we can't wait to share with you!

EMERGE empowers & prepares high-performing students from underserved communities to attend and graduate from selective colleges & universities across the nation.

The Challenge:
Only 13% of students from Houston's low-income communities earn a post-secondary degree (two or four-year) within ten years of graduating from high school.
- THECB TEA FY 2008 8th Grade Cohort
In the United States, only 25% of high-achieving students from
low-income communities apply to the nation's most selective colleges and
universities.
