EMERGE Spring Branch ISD Student and Parent Contract Signing | January 16, 2016
EMERGE currently works with more than 3,000 students attending 67 high schools in Aldine ISD, Houston ISD, Klein ISD, Spring Branch ISD, and Spring ISD and over 150 colleges and universities across the nation. More than 90% of EMERGE students in HISD are classified as economically disadvantaged (meeting the federal criteria for free and reduced-price lunches) with approximately 100% of EMERGE students classified as economically disadvantaged in Aldine ISD, Klein ISD, Spring Branch ISD, and Spring ISD. The current ethnic breakdown of EMERGE students is 65% Hispanic, 20% African American, 11% Asian/Pacific Islander, and 4% White.
